In the previous lesson, we told you how to open an account at FBS.
Now it’s time to verify your profile. You need to do that when opening a real account in order to withdraw money from your FBS accounts and make a deposit with a bank card.
Verification also helps to ensure the security of your personal data and monetary funds.
Go to your personal area, on the panel at the top of the page you will see 4 icons. Two of them are not marked with green ticks, not good.
Go to confirm identity. Click on the icon, then confirm. Enter your id number and the date of birth.
Besides, FBS asks you to upload a color copy of your passport or ID issued by the government.
Make sure you upload both the front and back side of it. To make sure your copies are safe you can put some signs or symbols on them. For example: "for FBS verification" or "for fbs.eu". Make sure that copies are clear and visible. After uploading images, click “Send request”. Well done.
You will also need to verify your bank card and prove your residence. To verify that you are the owner of the bank card, we need you to confirm its details. Click on the bank card verification. Upload both sides of your bank card. Make sure the following information is clear and visible. The procedure is similar.
Choose the file, then press “send the request”. What about the proof of residence.
To verify the validity of your address, we need to get a proof from you. Upload a relevant document (utility bill, bank statement, local authority bill or a signed and sealed letter).
Notice that it must be issued within the last 3 months in the country of your current residence.
After you passed this verification step, it’s highly recommended to confirm your phone number. By doing it, you will be able to approve financial operations on your accounts using this number.
Click dashboard. Click the “confirm phone number” icon, then “confirm”, enter your telephone number and press get the code.
Congratulations! You passed all the steps and now it’s time to start trading!
